The next-generation Subaru WRX STI finally made its debut at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon. The WRX STI Sport# prototype is powered by a turbocharged, 2.4-liter flat-four engine rated at 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Symmetrical all-wheel-drive and a six-speed manual transmission come standard. The STI Sport# prototype also gets electronically-controlled dampers provided by ZF and tuned in-house, gold-finished Brembo brake calipers, 19-inch wheels, and a small spoiler on the trunk lid
