It’s hard to believe how much Niyol has grown since he first arrived at Redwings back in October 2021! This sweet boy is now five years old, and he’s truly blossomed into such a handsome, confident gelding. Niyol was born at another rescue after his mom, Penny, was seized by law enforcement while pregnant. When they were later transferred to Redwings, both Penny and Niyol joined our sanctuary family, along with Snow and her foal, Trinity. When they arrived, Penny and Snow were still semi-feral,

And the story continues for the eight rescued foals. Without their mammas, the foals have found comfort within their own little herd.
