A private Bombardier Challenger 600 jet carrying eight people crashed and burst into flames while taking off from Bangor International Airport in Maine, USA. The crash happened around 7:45 pm local time amid light snow and a winter storm warning in the region. The US Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have launched a joint investigation. Authorities have not yet disclosed the fate or identities of those onboard.
