Today, sixteen new NYPD Transit K9s and their partner officers graduated from training in a ceremony held at the Police Academy. These newly-inducted partners will protect the people of the City of New York by patrolling the subway stations throughout the city. The K9s’ names come from NYPD heroes who have fallen in the line of duty. We continue our vow to never forget. | NYPD
