#figbeetles, often mistaken for green june beetles, are a southwestern species of beetle that is quite misunderstood. They’re known as a garden pest and love to eat decaying fruit and organic matter. If they’re eating your fruit, it’s probably because they’re over-ripe and it’s time to harvest.
