At Mount Stewart - National Trust in County Down, the Dodo Terrace is a menagerie of strange stone creatures crafted in concrete by Thomas Beattie. They represent the Ark Club, a society gathering that met here during the First World War. One of the sculptures, a dodo, has been knocked off its plinth in a storm.
