We are proposing a single set of rules to calculate companies' taxable profits in the EU. CCCTB (Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base) is aimed at preventing large-scale tax avoidance and at simplifying corporate tax rules for companies, thus making it easier to do business across borders. Cross-border companies will only have to comply with one, single EU system for computing their taxable income, rather than many different national rulebooks.
