Earlier this week, the Port Coquitlam Fire Department responded to a dump truck fire on the Mary Hill bypass. While the fire started in the truck, it quickly spread to the dry grass along the bypass. Thanks to a fast response and quick action by our fire crews, the fire was contained and extinguished before it could spread further.
