Schluter KERDI-BOARD tip…I use the shower valve plug to put a hole in the board. Then I center the mixing valve seal and trace a circle. I cut that circle 1/8” wider and that helps the valve seal fit tight. KERDI-BOARD shower wall tip…these 4 foot by 8 foot boards make waterproofing showers fast. I fasten screws/washers 1 inch off the subfloor and every 12 inches. I also slightly depress the screw/washer so that banding is easier.
