In a clip from the night, Van Zandt and Springsteen performed “I Don’t Want to Go Home,” the Van Zandt-penned title track to Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes’ first album, which was produced by Van Zandt and features two Springsteen compositions.
Bruce Springsteen took part, unannounced, in the Sunday, Oct. 26 TeachRock benefit at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park.

Bruce Springsteen met his future bandmate and wife, Patti Scialfa, at a New Jersey rock club in the '80s. Today, they share three children.
There were two other music-related cameos in the film. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs drummer Brian Chase landed the role of E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg in the film. Meanwhile, label honcho Jimmy Iovine's voice makes a guest turn, as he portrays himself screaming at Springsteen's manager (played by Jeremy Strong in the movie).
Brothers Jake and Sam Kiszka from Frankenmuth-formed Greta Van Fleet appear as part of the house band in a couple of scenes. They also recorded on three songs from the soundtrack album
