White Castle announced it will open its first Texas restaurant at the Grandscape development in The Colony, marking the burger chain's entry into the DFW area.

For the first time in its more-than-100-year history, White Castle is coming to Texas. The burger chain is opening its first store in the Lone Star state at the Grandscape shopping mall in The Colony, a company spokesperson confirmed to the Star-Telegram on Thursday. The restaurant is expected to open in summer 2026.

The Columbus-based slider chain will open the restaurant next summer in a Dallas suburb, as it continues to expand into new states.
