Popular frosted sugar cookies sold at Target stores in 20 states are being recalled due to the presence of "foreign material," according to the Food and Drug Administration. The recall, voluntarily initiated July 22 by Give and Go Prepared Food Corps.

Over 800 cases of Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies sold at Target were recalled due to possible wood contamination. The cookies, recalled on July 22 by Give and Go Prepared Foods, were distributed in 20 states and Washington D.C. No illnesses have been reported, accordin to the voluntary recall.

The cookies, 10-count packages of Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies, were manufactured by Give and Go Prepared Foods Corp., based in Etobicoke, Ont., Canada, include 803 cases with the lot number 25195, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
