CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (WFLA) — SpaceX is launching a Falcon 9 rocket from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Saturday morning. The launch is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. and is part of the KF-02 mission. SpaceX was initially aiming to launch on Thursday, but inclement weather over the past few days forced them to push it back until Saturday.

Once the seeds return to Earth, scientists will examine their appearance, extract DNA to study genetic changes and test their physiology.
