Players coming to Oblivion Remastered from Skyrim might find some elements of the RPG very similar, while others are more than a little jarring.

For those that don’t know, The Elder Scrolls: IV Oblivion is set in Cyrodiil, which borders Skyrim, the setting of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Hence why you can see The Throat of the World at the edge of the Oblivion Remastered map, assuming you can climb high enough.

The remaster caught fans by surprise with a great graphical update, QoL updates, cheeky nods to iconic things, and even a little new content.
