COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s Ryan Day is still the highest-paid head coach in the Big Ten, but another coach in the conference is moving up the national ranks. Curt Cignetti signed a new eight-year contract with Indiana on Thursday, raising his average annual salary to $11.6 million. His deal runs through the 2033 regular season.
Indiana went on a run of its own to take a small lead over Ohio State and ultimately won the set. In the second set, the Hoosiers struggled to find any rhythm and fell 25-18.
