A pilot died Friday afternoon in a small plane crash in Hunterdon County, investigators said. The plane crashed in Alexandria Township around 4:40 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement. The aircraft was identified by the agency as a a Chinook Plus 2, an ultralight plane typically assembled from a kit by their pilots.
