LAS VEGAS — Jordan Miller’s crisp offensive performance helped offset a similarly impressive effort from Bronny James and vaulted the Los Angeles Clippers to a 67-58 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA 2K26 Summer League battle at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on Monday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers’ latest move did not move the team any closer to its first NBA title in franchise history. After being bought out by the Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles signed veteran Bradley Beal to a two-year $11 million contract.

An NBA analyst was confused upon hearing that Bradley Beal signed with the Clippers after resenting the Suns for similar roster construction.

The Clippers (2-0) were led by Patrick Baldwin Jr., who tallied 22 points, 13 rebounds and three steals. Cam Christie compiled 21 points, three rebounds and three assists. Jordan Miller had 21 points and three assists, while Trentyn Flowers led the bench with 15 points, four rebounds and two steals.

During an interview with NBA reporter Dotun Akintoye of ESPN, Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid revealed that Los Angeles Clippers guard James Harden no longer talks to him.
