For the third time, Max Holloway will face Dustin Poirier, but this time around, the UFC BMF Title is on the line at UFC 318 on Saturday, July 19 in New Orleans.

In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, Holloway (26-8 MMA, 22-8 UFC) requested to be removed from the 145-pound standings since he has no intention of dropping back down. Holloway's most recent appearance came in a knockout loss to Ilia Topuria in their featherweight title fight at UFC 308.
