Smoke from wildfires burning in the Prairies is affecting air quality in Quebec, with Environment and Climate Change Canada warning of increased health risks associated with exposure to fine particulates in the air.

Parts of Canada are seeing some of their most unhealthy air yet, and the smoke is likely to move over the United States again this weekend.

More than 25,000 residents in three provinces have been evacuated as dozens of wildfires remained active Sunday and diminished air quality in parts of Canada and the U.S. Most of the evacuated residents were from Manitoba,
