Shell-shocked after the six-run barrage, Arizona got two runners on against Louisville reliever Tucker Biven with singles from Easton Breyfogle and Aaron Walton. But Biven recovered to strike out White and got Adonys Guzman to fly out to center field to finish off what felt like an improbable victory.

The Arizona Wildcats and Louisville Cardinals meet up in Omaha on Sunday with their NCAA Men’s College World Series hopes on the line in the first elimination game of the tournament.
