Wildfires in the Los Angeles area aren't just causing destruction in California; they're now affecting us here in the valley. On Wednesday, the CALNEV Pipeline, a key fuel supply line responsible for 95% of Clark County's fuel needs,

A fuel pipeline that connects the Las Vegas market to a major oil refinery in Southern California has been closed since just before noon Wednesday and remains shut down because of power outages related to fires in Los Angeles.

The city of Las Vegas said in a statement on Thursday afternoon the valley "looks to face temporary disruptions in service" of the main pipeline that brings fuel to the valley.
