Several hundred fans turned out to name a tiny street in San Francisco after celebrated Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia.
The dedication, held in the Excelsior District where Garcia grew up, kicked off a weekend of celebrations including Jerry Day and three Dead & Company concerts in Golden Gate Park.
