The "Big Bang Theory" spinoff "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe" has officially been greenlit at HBO Max, Variety has learned.
After a five-year build-up, it was a short run for HBO Max's 1970s crime drama Duster, as HBO Max is not proceeding with a second season of the series
In keeping with the scientific concept that is its namesake, the universe of The Big Bang Theory keeps expanding.
The news comes less than a week after the show aired the Season 1 finale, with “Duster” having originally premiered on the streamer in May. The series starred Josh Holloway and Rachel Hilson and hailed from co-creators and executive producers LaToya Morgan and J.J. Abrams.
The ridiculousness of this whole endeavor is best captured by a USA Today article published this morning titled “Max is HBO Max again. What will change for me?” The answer? Pretty much nothing. Your profile and all your recently watched shows will still be there.
