In their Champions League tie on Tuesday night, Man City fans held up an Oasis-themed banner mocking Vinicius defeat to Rodri in the Ballon dOr last October; the banner read Stop Crying Your Heart Out with an image of Rodri kissing the trophy;

The Brazilian was named player of the match as Real twice came from behind to beat City 3-2 in the first leg of their play-off tie, providing the assist for Jude Bellingham’s last-gasp winner at the Etihad Stadium. Vinicius was booed throughout and as the players walked out ahead of kick-off, a huge tifo was displayed behind one of the goals.

The Brazilian winger was taunted by Manchester City fans before the game, but put in a man of the match performance to give his side the advantage.
