Sheridan will pen the video game adaptation in a surprising move following the top creator's departure for NBCUniversal.

Taylor Sheridan and Peter Berg will co-write the script for Paramount Skydance’s live-action feature film adaptation of “Call of Duty.” Berg, whose credits include “Friday Night Lights” and “Deepwater Horizon,” will also direct.
