Elon Musk gave Tesla bulls plenty to believe in during Tesla's earnings call. Musk said he would reduce his efforts at DOGE and focus more on Tesla starting in May, but would "continue to spend a day or two per week on government matters.

Shares of the electric vehicle maker posted their best weekly advance since early November 2024 with a gain of +18.1%. As expected, the topic of tariffs was quite popular on the earnings conference call. The word "tariff" was mentioned at least 29 times on the call.
