Flash flooding caused by torrential rains killed at least seven people, including a 3-year-old child, in northern West Virginia, officials said.

The death toll from weekend flooding in West Virginia rose to six as residents tried to clean up with the threat of more rain on the way.

Video from the affected area showed inundated roads and damage to homes and vehicles.
