An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire that consumed an apartment carport and 17 vehicles in La Habra on Friday night, July 18.
The fire, called the Mile Marker 65 Fire because of its location about 8 miles south of Boise, started shortly before 1 p.m., according to WildCAD, a wildfire dispatch system. The fire grew to about 5,000 acres by 4 p.m.
The theft happened just after 11 p.m. on Friday in the 2900 block of Hoyt Avenue in Everett, according to police. Firefighters returning from the medical emergency call discovered their engine, a 2018 Pierce Enforcer Pumper truck, was missing, according to police.
Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR)put out a car fire right next to the Eastside Animal Shelter Saturday. AFR says they were dispatched to the area a little after noon. Crews say they were not injured, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
