Manchester United are lining up their first offer for Benjamin Sesko after Newcastle started what RB Leipzig hope will become a “bidding war” for the striker. Newcastle have tabled an offer worth £69.

United are expected to go head-to-head with Newcastle for Sesko, following reports that Alexander Isak is considering exploring his options away from Tyneside. Liverpool have already had a bid of £110m rejected.
