Winning their first Cup last season by defeating the Oilers in Game 7, the Panthers are just the seventh franchise in NHL history to win each of their first two Cups on home ice. After netting the game-winning goal in last year’s Cup-clinching win, Sam Reinhart provided the heroics once again, scoring four goals in an overall dominant effort.
There's always next year, Edmonton Oilers fans. That is surely the last thing they want to hear after their team lost in the Stanley Cup Final to the Florida Panthers for the second consecutive season. But at least Las Vegas likes the Oilers' overall outlook for the 2025-26 campaign.
