The Philadelphia Eagles' tush push is staying around after a failed proposal to ban it at the owners meeting, but that could be short lived.

The final vote on the proposed ban of the Tush Push was 22-10, and at least 24 votes were needed to pass it. The Chicago Bears were one of the 22 teams who voted to ban the play.
Saquon Barkley doesn’t love that he lost more than 10 touchdowns in 2024 due to the Philadelphia Eagles‘ use of the controversial Tush Push. But Barkley also had strong words for critics of the play in the week that the play was revived in a vote at the NFL spring meetings this week.
The Eagles have essentially perfected the play, leading to a significantly higher success rate with the Tush Push (87%) compared to the league average (71%). With 124 attempts since 2022, they have run the play more often than any other team, leading to 33 touchdowns and 106 first downs.
