The Seahawks were really hoping for a Byron Murphy breakout. He's obliged. He's been the fourth-best defender per PFF grades, and he's done it on the back of really excellent pass-rushing (78.3 grade). He's been a well-rounded player, but he's also pressuring the quarterback like so few others across the entire NFL.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was fined by the NFL for his actions during Monday's win vs. the Houston Texans.

Tyler Lockett is signing with the Raiders, reuniting with Geno Smith and Pete Carroll in Las Vegas after a short stint with the Titans.

Smith-Njigba was also fined for unsportsmanlike conduct after dunking the ball in a touchdown celebration earlier in the game.

Now, Lockett is signing with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. It's a chance for Lockett to catch passes from one of his former Seattle QBs, Geno Smith, and his coach, Pete Carroll. Lockett is 33 years old now and certainly past his prime, but he can definitely be a contributor.

“He’s turned the corner,” a high-ranking official that played against the Seahawks earlier in the season said via Washington Post reporter Jason La Canfora. “This is who he is now. It’s not a function of a system or anything like that. He’s a top-10 quarterback.”
