BEREA, Ohio — Browns starting cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. spoke before practice of doing a lot of soul-searching in the offseason to get back to his elite level of play. By the afternoon, he was being carted off the practice field in tears on Day 6 of Browns training camp with what appeared to be a serious lower left leg injury.

Martin Emerson Jr., a Pine Forest alum, was a third-round pick by Cleveland in 2022, and was set to enter the final year of his rookie contract
