The blaze erupted for unknown reasons at about noon in Campo, just north of state Route 94 and about 4 miles from the U.S.- Mexico border.

The three fires, dubbed the Springs Fire, were reported around 6:20 p.m. Thursday, in the area of Lyons Valley Road and Honey Springs Road.
