The S&P 500 and Nasdaq topped intraday records earlier in the session Friday. The Dow also gained, as the stock market reacted to the latest PCE inflation report and updates on tariff deals.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied 3.8% in last week's stock market trading, clearing short-term levels to its best level since early March. The S&P 500 index jumped 3.4%.

On the Dow Jones index, Apple AAPL was one of the biggest gainers in premarket trading. Apple stock rallied 1.1% Wednesday, on pace to extend a win streak to four sessions.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up almost 384 points, or 0.9%, at around 43,770. The Dow had earlier hit a session high of 43,966.37 at around 12:38 p.m. Eastern time, according to FactSet data.
