Rush will play its first area concert in more than 10 years when the Canadian rock band performs at Little Caesars Arena on Aug. 26, the band's reps announced Monday. Tickets for the show go on sale at noon on Oct. 31, and pre-sales start at noon Oct. 27. Sign-up for artist pre-sale is open now and closes Thursday.

Huez said there is an existing "super luxury market" for condos in metro Detroit. That is located in Birmingham, where there have been three reported sales at or above $1,000 a square foot in recent years. The actual sale prices of those Birmingham condos were between $2 million and $5 million, he said.

A Detroit man apparently had been drinking before he fell from a dock and into Lake St. Clair, where he drowned, New Baltimore police said Monday. Authorities identified the victim as Demari Dior Morgan, 27. He was visiting friends and family who had rented an Airbnb rental residence near the lake for the weekend.

An Eastpointe man will head to trial on second-degree murder charges in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Detroit man​ in May.

Protests were expected to run throughout the day Oct. 18 in Michigan in places as far as the Upper Peninsula as well as in Grand Rapids and in metro Detroit.

The armed man was wounded in September after police said he raised his weapon at an officer, threw it onto a building's roof.
