CVS purchased files from hundreds of shuttered locations around the country, including 20 stores in Philadelphia.

CVS Pharmacy has taken over prescription files from 42 closed Rite Aid locations in New Jersey as part of a nationwide acquisition.

CVS has also acquired the prescription files of 626 former Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs pharmacies in 15 states.
