While a new Rocksteady Batman game could be extraordinary, it can't eclipse the fact that DC games' predicament appears grim.

Rocksteady has a solid history of crafting excellent single-player games like the Batman: Arkham trilogy. However, their pivot to a multiplayer format with Suicide Squad clearly left much to be desired.

Batman: Arkham's Rocksteady Studios is reportedly working on a new single-player Batman game, while Monolith's Wonder Woman game flounders.

Rocksteady will reportedly by making a new Batman single-player game in the future. It is years away from releasing.
