The Rowena Fire near The Dalles remains burning at over 3,800 acres and 10% containment after igniting Wednesday afternoon.

“Crews burned the remaining 'green' fuel located between the fire's edge and the control lines to reduce the risk of reignition and strengthen containment efforts,” fire managers said.
