An awkward exchange between Prince William and Prince Andrew at a recent family funeral has resurfaced after Andrew gave up use of his royal titles.

It's no secret that Prince Andrew is somewhat of a royal pariah these days, following his sexual assault allegations, the disastrous Newsnight interview and ill-fated friendship with convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein—and it seems as though he was attempting to regain some favor this week at the Duchess of Kent's funeral.

Prince Andrew has reportedly been cut off from the royal family for good, with insiders saying he will be barred from King Charles's funeral and major royal events as new allegations and Virginia Giuffre's memoir renew public outrage.

A coat of arms bestowed upon Andrew when he was a child has been removed from Windsor Castle’s St George Chapel, according to the BBC. The red, yellow, blue and white banner is connected to his membership of the Order of the Garter, which he received in 2006.

Prince Andrew is at his lowest point, and it could get worse: he could lose his home and face interrogation. “He could go to prison,” says one royal watcher.
