Place the text cursor in the location where you want to add the line or paragraph break. Hold down the "Control" and "Option" keys. Press "Enter" once for a line break or twice for a paragraph break.

You can also insert a manual line break when you have text that won't fit in the width of a cell. The line break forces your text to display on multiple lines within the cell.
