A flood alert is to remain in place for parts of Surrey after heavy rain resulted in some rivers bursting their banks on Thursday.

Roads have been flooded and rail travel disrupted as heavy rain batters some areas, with an amber weather warning in force in part of the country.

The River Mole has also burst its banks outside Leatherhead, BBC Radio Surrey reported.
