Salem police arrested a man on Monday in connection to the death of his 70-year-old mother, after two women were found dead under "suspicious circumstances" in late January.

A suspicious death in Salem has been classified as a homicide following the arrest of Aaron White, 43, in connection with the death of his 70-year-old mother.

Despite both bodies being found the same day, police say the deaths appear to be unrelated to each other.
