The availability of Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph against the Minnesota Vikings is now up in the air. Dan Campbell's squad returned to the practice field on Thursday afternoon, after the players had a scheduled day of off on Wednesday.

ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions were missing two players from Thursday’s practice. But they saw the return of pass rusher Al-Quadin Muhammad (hamstring) back on the field in the good news department.

Lions: CBs Kerby Joseph (knee), Terrion Arnold (shoulder) and Avonte Maddox (hamstring) missed the previous game. Arnold and Maddox may return to play this week. OT Taylor Decker (shoulder) returned against the Bucs after missing two games, but is dealing with a nagging injury.

The Minnesota Vikings are on their first two-game skid of the year after another loss in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Now, they have to avoid a third loss by dealing with one of the best teams in the NFL, the Detroit Lions.
