Amazon's Prime Video on Monday said its ad-supported streaming service reaches more than 130 million U.S. customers, up from 115 million in 2024.

Amazon is rolling out new ad formats on Prime Video, including contextually relevant pause ads and shoppable inventory. The tech giant announced the new formats ahead of its upfront presentation to advertisers in New York.

Amazon Prime Video watchers in India will have to pay an add-on charge of ₹129 per month or ₹699 as an introductory price along with their existing membership. This is set to begin in June, per the news outlet. The move comes months after similar policy changes came to Amazon Prime Video users in the U.S., U.K., Germany, and Canada, per the outlet.
