The Seattle Seahawks are hiring New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak for their offensive coordinator position, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Kubiak, 37, will replace Ryan Grubb, who was fired by head coach Mike Macdonald after just one season on the job.
Kubiak could bring a philosophical shift and staff changes as the Seahawks' offense tries to highlight it's top players more.

In Seattle, Kubiak will join a team that has a talented offense with quarterback Geno Smith and an electric supporting cast that includes receivers Jaxon Smith-Njigba, D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. But coach Mike Macdonald was reportedly seeking a playcaller who could boost Seattle’s rushing attack, which finished just 28th in yards per game.
