Riviera Country Club sits right in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, which was devastated by a fire earlier this month.

Wildfires in the Los Angeles area forced a relocation of this year’s Genesis to Torrey Pines, which is hosting a Tour event this week.

The PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational will move to Torrey Pines Golf Course. The tournament at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, hosted by golf icon Tiger Woods, was displaced because of the devastating fires in Pacific Palisades.

Torrey Pines Golf Course will host the Genesis Invitational next month after the PGA Tour moved the tournament from Riviera Country Club due to the deadly Palisades fire.

The Genesis Invitational will be held this year at Torrey Pines in San Diego rather than Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, because of the recent wildfires in the Los Angeles area.
