LGBTQ+ Safety Rankings, released by SafeHome.org, evaluated every state based on legislative actions, policy protections, and reported hate crime

The trend for decades has been that once a U.S. Senate seat is won in Mississippi, the incumbent holds the post for a long time with minimal opposition.

The original complaint revolves around a pre-election poll showing Vice President Harris with a three-point lead in Iowa.

A large number of Mississippians will return to the polls on Aug. 5 to vote in special elections for several legislative districts.

Big names have been slow to emerge ahead of the election, but many are likely to set out their stall in the weeks to come given the election must take place by Tuesday, November 11th. MEP Seán Kelly and former MEP Mairead McGuinness are likely to compete for the Fine Gael nomination.
