Saquon Barkley sprinted 60 yards for a touchdown on his first carry of the NFC championship game and the Eagles running back never looked back.

The Philadelphia Eagles surpassed the Washington Commanders on Sunday with a 55-23 victory. Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley spearheaded the win with three rushing touchdowns apiece. A.J. Brown collected a team-high 96 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The Eagles and Chiefs will face off for the Lombardi Trophy for the second time in three years on Feb. 9 in New Orleans. Kansas City aims to become the first team to win three Super Bowls in a row.

The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to their third consecutive Super Bowl. The Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game 32-29 in yet another epic matchup between the two conference rivals.

With a historic three-peat on the line, Patrick Mahomes isn't letting the Chiefs lose focus. Ahead of their Super Bowl clash against Saquon Barkley and the Eagles, the star quarterback delivered a strong message to his teammates.

The Eagles called run plays more frequently than any team in football — 55.7% of their snaps, per FTN Network — and that’s not strictly because their quarterback, Jalen Hurts, is willing to tuck it and scramble. They also had the fewest dropbacks in the league. The rushes come by design, in other words.
