A crash investigation was underway after a Canadian freight train collided into an Amtrak passenger train in southwest Memphis over the weekend, officials said.

Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are heading to Memphis after a Canadian National Railway Freight train collided with an Amtrak train Sunday morning.

Three people were injured after a two-train crash involving an Amtrak on Sunday morning.
